Tectonic plate boundary
A
Refers to the location where two plates meet and interact with eachother. These occur at the boundaries of two different plates and cause tectonic hazards

What is the difference between major and minor plates
A
- Major plates: refer to larger tectonic plates ususally based on the continent or sea above it in name.
- Minor plates: refer to smaller tectonic plates which develop.

A
Refer to a highly tectonic active area due to many plate boundaries
- exists to the east of Australia up unto the West Coast of South America
- Includes the Philippines, North America, Australia and Indian plates
