Action content - Definition
What a dancer does eg travelling, turning, elevation, gesture, stillness, use of body parts, floor-work and the transference of weight
Dynamic Content - Definition
The qualities of movement based upon variations in speed, strength and flow, (e.g. fast/slow, sudden/sustained, acceleration/deceleration, strong/light, direct/indirect, flowing/abrupt)
Spatial Content - Definition
The way that elements of space have been considered, utilised and designed, can be personal space and general space, (e.g. pathways, levels, directions, size of movement, patterns, spatial design)
Relationship Content - Definition
The ways in which dancers interact; the connections between dancers, (e.g. lead and follow, mirroring, action and reaction, accumulation, complement and contrast, counterpoint, contact, formations)
Timing Content - Definition
The use of time or counts when matching movements to sound and/or other dancers
Rhythmic Content - Definition
Repeated patterns of sound or movement
Movement in a Stylistically Accurate Way - Definition
Style - Characteristic way of dancing
