The energy the dancer uses to connect to an audience
Focus - Definition
Use of the eyes to enhance a performance or interpretive qualities
Spatial Awareness - Definition
Consciousness of the surrounding space and its effective use
Facial Expression - Definition
Use of the face to show mood, feeling or character
Phrasing - Definition
The way in which energy is distributed in the execution of a movement phrase
Musicality - Definition
The ability to make the unique qualities of the accompaniment evident in your performance
Sensitivity (to other dancers) - Definition
Awareness of and the connection to other dancers
Communication of Choreographic Intent - Definition
A dancers ability to communicate a particular mood, style or theme in order to enhance a performance
