What are Tables?

A
  • present data clearly, to show patterns in scores
  • can be used to show raw data; or
  • descriptive statistics eg. the mean, range etc

A
  • present continuous data, which is measured on a continuous scale along the x axis
  • the frequency of an event is plotted on the y axis
  • columns touch each other
  • all intervals are shown

A
  • present continuous data, which is measured on a continuous scale along the a axis
  • the frequency of the event is plotted on the y axis
  • used to show a test of difference when more than one set of data needs to be presented
