Q

What is a model?

A

Q

Strengths of Models

A
  • Results are easy to understand
  • It helps scientists find out how a system might change if the inputs or storages are changed.
  • It allows inputs to be changed and outputs to be examined without having to wait a long time.

Q

Weaknesses of Models

A
  • Oversimplified = Loss of accuracy
  • An enviromental system has many factors and it is very difficult almost impossible to take all factors into account. This leads to unaccurate results.
  • Every model reacts in a different way. The same data could be used in different models and the outputs would be different.
