An enviormental value system is a worldview that shapes the way an individual or group percieves and evalutaes an enviormental issue.

They are systems because they have inputs= Education, Culture, Media which generate outputs=opinions

- Ecocentric (nature focused)
- Technocentric (technology focused)
- Anthropocentric (human focused)

A
- Puts nature and ecology as central to humanity.
- Prioritizes Biorights
- Encourages a less materialistic approach to life
- Prioritizes education
- Encourages self-restraint in human behavior

Characteristics of Anthropocentric Approach
A
- Values nature for the materials it gives to humanity
- Believes that we have to sustainably manage the global system through taxation or enviormental regulations

A
- Believes that through technological developments we can find a solution to enviormental problems.
- Their priority is Economic Growth
- Encourages scientific research in order to understan how systems work in order to be able to manipulate them, change them or control them.
