What does the “PASS SIGN ON” memo message mean?
BOTH the “seatbelt” and “no smoking” switches are on.
When will seatbelt sign illuminate automatically in auto?
- Gear down
- Flaps down
- A/C below 10,300’
- Cabin above 10,000
- Supernumerary O2 on
When will no smoking sign illuminate automatically in auto?
- Gear down

Yes. There is a maintenance switch that will function if the door is unarmed

Rotating the handle

6 on the the BCF.
8 on the factory freighter
How are the escape artist is designed to be used?
During exit through the hatch if the upper deck doors are in operative

How long will fully charged emergency light batteries last?
15 minutes
If the emergency lights switch is off on the flight deck will the upper deck switch function?
Yes. The upper deck emergency light switch will work regardless of the flight deck switch position.
