Circulatory
Pumps blood around the body getting sugars and oxygen to all cells. Organs used: Heart
Respiratory
To take oxygen into the blood and get rid of carbon dioxide. Organs Used : Lungs
Digestive
To break food down to small soluble molecules to be absorbed into the blood system. Organs: Stomach Teeth oesophagus, intestine and mouth
Nervous
To send signals to and from the brain, responding to the outside. Organs: brain, nerves
Reproductive
To produce sperm or egg cells and grow foetus. Organs: male: testes female-overlays.
Skeletal
To hold your body in place, supports your organs. Organs used bones.
Muscular
To allow movement Uses muscles
Excretory
To filter waste and toxins from blood
