Cell Membrane
thin skin around cytoplasm off cell to control entry and exit of materials e.g food oxygen
Nucleus
is the information and control center, it has information which controls everything on the cell
Cell Wall
the rigid outermost, gives shape and strength to a plant cell
Vacuole
large space filled with cell sap (liquid), in plant cells salts, proteins and pigments are contained in the vacuole
Chloroplasts
Contains the green chemical, chlorophyll, to turn sunlight into sugar in plant cells. They harness light energy through photosynthesis.
Cytoplasm
In animal cells, it also contains protein producing ribosomes and mitochondria - which is essential for respiration. Living part where all the chemical reactions for the cell take place.
