Low tone often presented with red light, high tone with b-g light (5,000 training trials), Pps told they would lose their jobs if they made a mistake, 20,000 test trials (including 1,000 tone reversals) with lights of lower saturation, more errors made with practice (= fatigue & boredom), the tone made no difference
