- Full extension of gound spoilers will automatically occur when:
- If armed:
- both mains compressed and
- both thrust levers at idle
- If not armed
- RTO above 72kts or
- Both mains compressed and
- reverse thrust is selected on at least one engine
- If armed:
- Partial extension of ground spoilers (10 degrees) occurs automatically when:
- Reverse is selected
- only one main is compressed
- Full retraction of ground spoilers automatically occurs when:
- Disarmed
- After landing
- One TLA advanced > 20 degrees

- May be in INTERMEDIATE configuration if the skin temperature is too hot.

- One in OVRD

- Air conditioned air is added
- Blower fan stops (If BLOWER in OVRD)
