  2. SPEEDBRAKES…..CHECK RETRACTED
  3. FLIGHT PATH….RECOVER SMOOTHLY
  • If in clean configuration and below 20,000 feet:
    1. FLAP 1…….SELECT

If after V1 :

  1. THR LEVERS…….TOGA
  2. REACHING VR…….ROTATE
  3. SRS ORDERS…….FOLLOW
  • If necessary, the flight crew may pull the sidestick fully back

Airborne, initial climb or landing:

  1. THR LEVERS AT TOGA…….SET OR CONFIRM
  2. AP (if engaged)……..KEEP ON
  3. SRS ORDERS……..FOLLOW

Engine Failure in Cruise

(per APD this is a Captain Memory Item)

A

As soon as the engine failure is recognized:

  • Thrust levers - MCT
  • Disconnect A/THR
  • ECAM Actions
  • Determine EO LRC Altitude
  • Notify ATC

When ready to descend:

  • Select SPEED and Pull
  • Select EO LRC Altitude and Pull OPEN DES

Fixed Speed: MMO/VMO/320 until <500fpm

Obstacle: Green Dot until clear then Standard

Standard: .78/300/250 until <500fpm
