Q

next step in mobility pricing

A

mobility pricing is usage-based cost allocation. the users pay the costs they generate.

the swiss traffic system (road & PT) is expensive & overstrained. due to the subsidized traffic offer the mobility behavior increase.

PT has a level of cost coverage of 41%

Recommendation Avenir Suisse: higher degree of user financing. Stronger price differentiation according to time of usage and route. investment in infrastructure, based on a better cost-benefit-ratio.

Mobility pricing is not a technology, its an economic principle, based on cost transparency
