Supplementary vote - used to elect police and crime commissioners and also London Mayors. Changed in 2021

A
- People may not choose a minor party when they know it is unlikely they make it into 2nd round

A
- Encourages voting only for the candidates most likely the get out of 2nd vote, potential tactical voting

A
- In many cases winner still may not achieve majority over 50%

- Less waste than FPTP as 2nd preference votes from candidate knocked out and recycled
