What are the relationships of the dancers in this section?
A
- Cherkaoui observes the 1st Monks solo, completely static and still. Suggests the theme of his personal journey, how he learnt from the monks by watching and analysing their movement. Stays clear by travelling around the boxes.
- 3 Monks total: first Monk controlled by Larbi + the staff, last Monk has staff taken away from him at the end.
- Monks have a barrier between them created by the staff: no contact between them.
