1. Group administration questionnaire- many respondents can complete the questionnaire in a short amount of time like exams and they are cheap and easy
2. Postal or internet survey- Cheap (internet survey only)
3. Telephone survey- Survey can be done quickly/ participant does not have to be literate about a topic being asked.
4. Face-to-face survey- has the highest response rate
