what is necrotising enterocolitis?
A serious illness in which tissues in the intestine (gut) become inflamed and start to die. This can lead to a perforation.
what is a common cause of not passing stool in the first 24hrs?
meconium ileus

what is meconium ileus?
a bowel obstruction that occurs when the meconium in your child’s intestine is even thicker and stickier than normal meconium
what is a jejunal atresia?
a blockage in the jejunum due to the wall, preventing the passage of food and stool

yes
what can green bile vomit indicate?
twisting of the bowel
is twisting of the bowel serious?
yes-life threatening and surgery is urgently required
