Question 1

Reason for surah Kausar revelation

This surah was sent down when the disbeliverrs of Makkah used to call the prophet “IBITAR” because he had no sons alive or insulted him for other reason

Question 2

إِنَّآ أَعْطَيْنَـٰكَ ٱلْكَوْثَرَ

Answer 2

Hazzart Anas said: “ While we were with the porphet (as) in the mosque; he went to sleep then he lifted his head smiling. We asked, He repled “A surah has just been revealed to me” The he recited Bimillahh and surah AL- Kausar. Then he asked “Do you know what Al Kausar is?” We replied, “ Allah (swt) and hs messenger knows best” HE said it a river that my lord has promised me and it has abundant godness. It is a fountain where my Ummah will come on the day of judgment. It’s continous or as numerous as the stars in the sky.

فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَٱنْحَرْ

Answer 3

“Pray and sacrifice” could be reffering to the days of Hajj becausewe pray salah of Wid-Al-Adha and then go to perform a sacrifice. This ayat directs the prophet (as) the way to express his gratitude to Allah (swt)

إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ ٱلْأَبْتَرُ

Answer 4

Meaning of the Kausar
1. He is the only human by whom Allah swears by The QURAN
2. Some people say it is a river in paradise
3. It s a pond from whom the believers will drink on the day of judgment before going to paradise
4. Some people say it is reffered as prophethood and the message/Bok given to him
