Hitler promised protection from communists (confiscated land) and 1928, changed rules to only take land from Jews
Big Businesses
Industrialists were scared of communism
Wealthy businesses men could donate to the party, Alfred Hugenburg (National party leader, newspaper tycoon) let Goebbels use his papers for propaganda.
Middle Class
The Great Depression meant they had lost everything, wanted traditional Germany and they were scared of communists
Contained professional people, likely to vote, respectable and maybe donations
Working Class
They were promised ‘work and bread’, liked traditional German values and ‘German Workers’ Party’
