I- calcaneus via calcaneal tendon
INN- tibial nerve, S1, 2
A- plantarflex ankle, steadies leg to foot

A

O- Lateral Head: lateral aspect of lateral condyle of femur
Medial Head: Popliteal surface of femur, superior to medial condyle of femur
I- calcaneus via calcaneal tendon
INN- Tibial nerve S1, 2
A- plantarflex ankle, lifts heel when walking, flexes the knee
