Popliteus
O- lateral aspect of lateral condyle of femur, lateral meniscus
I- superior 1/3 of tibia superior to soleal line
INN- Tibial nerve L4,5, S1
A- weakly flexes knee, unlock and rotates femur 5* on planted tibia, medial rotates tibia when unplanted
Tibialis Posterior
O- inferior to soleal line posterior tibia, interosseous membrane, posterior fibula
I- cuboid, navicular tuberosity, cuneiform, sustentaculum tail of calcaneus
INN- tibial nerve L4,5
A- plantarflex ankle, invert foot
Flexor Digitorum Longus
O- posterior aspect of tibia inferior to the soleal line, broad tendon of fibula
I- base of distal lateral four phalanges of foot
INN- Tibial nerve S2,3
A-flex lateral four digits, weakly plantarflex ankle, support medial longitudinal arch of foot
Flexor Hallucis Longus
O- inferior 2/3 posterior aspect of fibula, interosseous membrane
I- bases of distal hallux
INN- Tibial nerve S2,3
A- flex great toe, weakly plantarflex ankle, support medial longitudinal arch of foot
