A
- A volcano which is capable of erupting on a much bigger scale than a normal volcano +

What are the characteristics of a super volcano?
A
- They do not look like a volcano as they have large depressions called calderas
- Often doesn’t have a peak or cone

How can volcanoes be monitored?
A
- Through checking changes in its shape, using electronic tilt meters and global positioning systems

A
- To listen to rumbling of the volcano, as magma flows towards the surface
