How did Abraham respond to God’s call?

Why did God call Moses?
To set the Israelites free from the Egyptian authorities and make them God’s people again.

People called into on flock by God and who were made God’s own people.
How did Jesus establish the new covenant?
By giving the transformed bread and wine as his own body and blood at the Last Supper.
What does St. Paul say to show that all men are in need of salvation?
God willed to bring salvation to all through His only son Jesus.
What is the experience of salvation?
Living in freedom and love with God.
Why do we say that obedience to the commandments is the condition for salvation?
Because the commandments that God gave them through Moses constituted a way of life that ensured salvation.
Jesus is the Saviour of the World. Explain.
Jesus saved the world through his death and resurrection.
How are salvation and the sacraments related?
The sacraments lead us to the experience of salvation.
What do you mean by faith?
A man’s response to the call of God who reveals himself.
How is faith reflected in Abraham and in Mother Mary?
Abraham trusted in God’s promise and Mary believed in the message of the angel and submitted to the will of God.
