Armagh, Cavan, Coleraine, Donegal, Fermanagh, Tyrone, Down and Antrim
Who came during the Ulster Plantation?
Servitors, Londoners, undertakers, ordinary farmers from Scotland, tradesmen from England
Why did they come to Ulster during the plantation?
The scots were told they would get fresh new land, servitors-paid off with land, undertakers-they had to rent out land to tenants
Why did he Ulster plantation take place?
The English government needed money control over Ireland, so that the Protestant religion could be strengthened

He was king of Scotland, England and Ireland. There were many arguments over money, power and religion

He was James VI son. In 1642 a civil war broke out between him and parliament. Charles lost and was executed in 1649

He was Charles’ brother and a catholic. In 1688 he was replaced by William of Orange

They were very religious people who like reading the bible. They wore dark clothes and disliked drinking on Sundays, dancing and singing

Those who supported the King.

Those who supported parliament
