A
  • court of districts (divisions of states for administrative convenience)
    HIGHEST COURTS FOR:
  • Civil cases: court of the district judge
  • Criminal cases: court of sessions judge
  • the district judge can also act as the sessions judge
  • appeals from lower courts are taken here
  • appeals from here are taken to high court
