Explain the ORR
The office of rail and road is a government department responsible for the economic and safety regulation of the railways. They also regulate how Network Rail disposes of its land through Condition 17 of its network licence.
Explain the LC17 Process
The LC17 process is a land disposal regulatory arrangement to protect land that may be required in the future for railway purposes. There are two types of consent under LC17. One is general consent and there are grounds by which general consent is permitted subject to consultation with railway stakeholders in some cases. Then there is specific consent which requires consultation with railway stakeholders but then is submitted to the ORR for them to determin.
How do you use iAuditor?
iAuditor is a Network Rail inspections tool. its a digital way of recording inspections, raising and managing actions from those inspections. You input the data from the inspection into the system and this allows reports to be produced and manage assets, issues and actions.
