Grade 1 - asymptomatic or minimal headache - mild nuchal rigidity Grade 2 - mod to severe headache - nuchal rigidity - no neuro deficit other than CN palsy Grade 3 - drowsiness - confusion - mild focal deficit Grade 4 - stupor - hemiparesis - vegetative disturbance Grade 5 - deep coma - decerebrate - moribund

Initially increased attenuation in: - basal cisterns - sylvian fissures -interhemispheric fissure - septum pellucidium (ACOM) Aneurysm seen if > 5 mm Prominence of temporal horns of lat ventricles may present as non traumatic intraventricular hemorrhage Isodense at 48 hrs
