A
Self limiting
Heat to lid
Possible topical antibiotic if associated conjunctivitis
Removal of eyelash
Puncture and drain

What are the different types of styes?

A

External: infection of the glands of Zeis (sebum) or Moll (sweat)

Internal: Infection of Meibomian glands. May leave residual chalazion (Meibomian cyst)
