binary form
two parts A:B
ternary form

theme and variations
idea, explored and changed in a variety of ways eg: rhythmically, melodically, changing instruments, key etc
through composed
song where each verse has it’s own unique melody. It does not sound repetitive.
strophic
uses the same music for each verse with some slight variation in the accompaniment.

intro; verse; chorus; bridge; outro; etc
fugue
polyphonic composition based on one or two themes for two or more parts

Consisting of three main sections: the exposition, the development, the recapitulation
