What are the treatments for a stroke?

A
  • admittance to stroke unit
  • thrombolysis if caught early
  • hemicraniectomy
  • carotid endarectomy

Secondary prevention

  • aspirin/clopidogrel 75mg + dipyridamole
  • statins
  • BP drugs even if BP is within normal range
