What is the initial treatment for TIA

A

Aspirin 300mg OD with/without PPI until diagnosed fully

TIA and low risk bleeding: Aspirin 300mg and clopidogrel 300mg for 1 dose within 24 hours then BOTH 75mg OD for 21 days THEN clopidogrel monotherapy

Alternatively: Ticagrelor with aspirin then Ticagrelor/Clopidogrel monotherapy

If dual is not suitable, then Clopidogrel monotherapy is sufficient
