How do seaward dipping strata erode?
A
Wave processes attack the bottom of it leaving the top unsupported. The top has gradually been weakened through weathering, causing it to slip into the sea.

How does lanward dipping strata erode?
A
Wave cut notch forms but there is no rock abpve it so no rock fall happens and the vliff retreats slowly
