A
1- prior condition- talk about individuals, tell why I care about the individual — portray PROBLEM
BUT THEN
2- new condition- give hope- describe new condition and how it addresses the prob (doesn’t have to solve completely)
3- more needs to be done- give audience a role- What if…
What would it take to complete/expand conditions? How can audience help?

Tips for better stories (4)
A
- identify 5 sec moment
- always provide a physical location
- identify main character and motives- any info that makes the character unique is interesting and relevant
- can I be vulnerable, reveal myself?

- key phrases and places to pause
