Q

Talk about cardiac orifice

A

(5)

  • at the site of gastrosephageal sphinctor
  • physiological rather than anatomical sphincter ( due you to 6 )
  • it prevents GERD
  • 1inch to the left of midline

Q

Talk about borders of it

A

1- lesser curvature
- it is suspended from the liver by the lesser omentum.
- rt, lt gastric vessels runs on it

2- greater curvature
- the lower part of it is attached to transverse colon by greater omentum
- gastroepiploic vessesls runs on it
