- Asymptomatic
- Green vaginal discharge, lower abdo pain
- Post-coital, intermenstrual bleeding

How would you treat gonorrhoea? (2)
A
1g IM ceftriaxone (+ azithromycin)
Contact tracing + treat partners

A
1g IM ceftriaxone

A
Chlamydia trachomatic (obligate IC parasite)

Why is chlamydia important to treat?
A
Causes tubal infertility

What are the clinical presentations for chlamydia? (3)
A
- 70% asymptomatic
- Dysuria, white vaginal discharge
- Post-coital, intermenstrual bleeding

How would you treat chlamydia? (2)
A
PO doxycycline 100 mg BD for 7 days
(if not tolerated then 1g azithromycin)
Contact tracing, treat partners

How would you treat chlamydia in a pregnant woman?
A
Erythromycin 10-14 days
