=Azithromycin / Amoxicillin • Take entire prescription • Treat partners • Retest pregnant clients (3 weeks) • Given during pregnancy
• Erythromycin ointment on eyes for infants (used on all babies when they are born!!)
treatment for gonorrhea , mom and baby ?
= Ceftriaxone IM and azithromycin PO • Broad-spectrum, bactericidal • Decrease effectiveness of oral contraceptives • Repeat culture • Erythromycin ointment for infants
3 stages of syphilis?
- Primary - skin canker/ulceration
- Secondary - skin rash hands and feet
- Tertiary - internal organ damage
test for syphilis?
• Screening for all preg people
◦ RPR = test for syphillis antibodies
‣ negative= nonreactive = no anitbodies
treatment for syphilis?
penicillin, IM single dose
When do C section with HPV?
if have genital warts
screenings/pap for HPV frequency?
◦ Pap test 21-29 every 3, 30-65, pap every 5 years
imiquimod cream for genital warts, safe for preggos?
yes!

- Laser therapy
- Cone biopsy
