Q

Netural vs Ground

A

Neutral: Part of normal operation in 3 phases, It will carry the current during operation for unbalanced current.

Ground: safety measure to provide least resistance path during fault current. not part of regular operations. This least resistance parth will give high sudden current flow which will trigger Circuit Breakers.

Q

FPGA

A

Field-Programmable Gate Array is a type of computer chip that you can program to perform specific tasks. Unlike regular chips that are made for one specific job, FPGAs can be changed to do different jobs after they are made. This means you can update or change what the chip does even after it has been installed. Think of an FPGA like a box of LEGO bricks. You can put the bricks together in different ways to create different structures. Similarly, you can arrange the components inside an FPGA to create different electronic circuits.

Q

Solid Wire vs Strand Wire

A

Strand Wire: Vibration, Flexibility (easy bending and Installation), reduce signal loss, better to handle mechanical stress, will not break during critical bending.

Solid Wire: High Current Carrying Capacity, Better conductivity and lower resistance, high corrosion resistance make it suitable for long-distance power transmission and straight installation. Ex: Residential Wiring, Underground Cables.

Export Classification Control Number

7E994 “Technology,” n.e.s., for the
“development,” “production” or “use” of
navigation, airborne communication, and
other avionics equipment.

9E610 Technology “required” for the
“development,” “production,” operation,
installation, maintenance, repair, overhaul, or
refurbishing of military aircraft and related
commodities controlled by 9A610, equipment
controlled by 9B610, materials controlled by
9C610, or software controlled by 9D610 (see
List of Items Controlled).

ECCN 9E610 for “technology” related to
aircraft, refuelers, ground equipment,
parachutes, harnesses, instrument flight trainers
and “parts”, “accessories” and “attachments”.

EAR99 (Export Administration Regulations) items generally consist of low-technology consumer goods and do not require a license in most situations.

13
Q

why we use tin platted over copper wire or terminal.

A

tin plating, which helps prevent oxidation and corrosion. Tin also enhances solder-ability, ensuring reliable electrical connections over time.

Q

Faying vs Jumper

A

Faying: direct metal-to-metal contact with cleaned, treated, or plated, bold surfaces.

Jumper: A flexible conductor (wire or strap) used to electrically connect two points, ensuring a continuous grounding path.

Q

voltage drop formula

A

V.drop = I * R

R = row * L by A

row-material resistivity
Copper Resistivity: 1.68 × 10−8 ohms-meter

Area: 1 mm2=10−6 m2

Generally you know need to calculate R value, It will be given base don the wire gauge and operating condition what will be the Resistance value per meter…You just multiple this with total length to get the total wire length resistance value…

Q

Bold Material & What is Passivization

A

CRES - Corrosion-Resistant Steel, 300 Series Stainless Steel.

Passivated refers to a chemical treatment process used to enhance corrosion resistance, primarily for stainless steel components. The process removes free iron and other contaminants from the surface, forming a thin, protective oxide layer that prevents rust and corrosion.
