Who were Uranus and Gaia
They were the start of the world of Greeks
What children did they have?
3 Cyclopes, 3 Hecatoncheires and 12 titans
He was a horrid father so what did Gaia do?
She persuaded Cronus the youngest of the Titans to kill him
When Cronus became ruler what happened?
He had a prophecy which said that one of his children would overthrow him
Every time his wife Rhea had a child what did he do?
He ate them
When the sixth baby came what did Rhea do
He made Cronus think he was eating the baby but instead gave him a rock. She gave the baby to be cared for by Curetes
Who was the baby?
Zeus
What did Zeus do when he came home
He fed Cronus salt water and mustard to make him throw up all his children grown up.
What do the Children of Cronus do?
Zeus, Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades and Poseidon all declare parts of the world for themselves
