1. Polysaccharide peptidoglycans - rigidity and integrity
2. Teichoic acid - facilitate the adhesion of cocci to host
3. Capsular polysaccharide - inhibits opsonisation
CELL SURFACE PROTIEN
1. PROTIEN A - chemotactic, anti phagocytic, platelet damage and hypersensitivity
2. Clumping factor - bound coagulase, responsible for slide coagulation test
3. Lipase - helps infects skin and subcutaneous tissue
4. Hyaluronidase - breaks connective tissue
