hostile interactions, rapid adaptation to roles, guards became increasingly verbally aggressive- punished prisoners, prisoners initially passive , 2nd day rebelled, 1/3 of guards- sadistic tendencies, many prisoners depressed and anxious, 5 removed early.
exp. terminated after 6 days. however there was individual differences in behaviour.
