To comply with the requirements of the Transportation Security Administration [TSA] in the USA, tamper evident seals have been fitted to the integral lavatory smoke detectors on wide bodied aircraft

-> The procedure must be crosschecked by the SCCM at each stage
- Check with the Commander [via interphone, as necessary] to confirm that the relevant door is disarmed and confirm permission to open the door
- Instruct the cabin crewmember to close and re-arm the door

You would only be required to open this exit on hearing a command from the crew, before opening the exit check that it is safe to do so
