Q

Planned land evacuation ABP briefing

A

“This is where I’ll be sitting. If I am alright I will open my seat belt like this [demonstrate opening the seat belt and releasing the harness] and then open the door [stress the importance of holding on to the assist frame handle and releasing the door operating handle]. If the door doesn’t open, I will need your help to push it open. A slide should inflate outside the door, if it doesn’t there is a red inflation handle located in the door sill, which must be pulled. When the slide inflates I will need you to go down the slide first and lead passengers away”
Explain responsibilities if you become incapacitated. “If I become incapacitated during landing, then you will have to open my seat belt and move me out of the way. Then open the exit”
