What is a Lifeline?
2 blue ropes in overhead lockers above row 14 on each side (over wing exit doors)
Used when slide cant be detached from aircraft - gives something for passengers to hold on to when standing on wing until raft comes
Installing life line
Fitted with a snap hook between the door-stopping fitting located on the upper corner of the overwing emergency exit door frames and the hook located on the center of the wing surface
After mooring, lifeline pulled tight with pull tab
The sliding buckle holds lifeline tight for the correct length
