Lines of Latitude
Imaginary lines that run North to South but measure East to West direction
Lines of Longitude
Imaginary lines that run East to West with 0 degrees at the center. Run parallel to each other and equal in distance from North Pole to South Pole
Equator
Starting point for measuring longitude. Runs through Greenwich, England and has value of 0 degrees
Prime Meridian
Places that are close to one another and share some common characteristics
Region
The natural surroundings of a place
Environment
The shape and nature of land
Landform
Materials that can be used to produce crops or other products
Resources
Always changing (ex, technology, learning process)
Dynamic
Part of something or an element of a whole
