Q

Dr Sperry split-brain research - (1960) - (3 points)

A
  • AIM :
  • Sperry studied individuals who had a severed corpus callosum.
  • PROCEDURE :
  • Image presented to right visual field and could be processed in the left hemisphere (and vice versa). In a split-brain individual, information could not be conveyed from hemisphere to to the other.

-RESULTS :
- Used to see the extent to which hemispheres were specialised for specific functions.
