Most commonly found in lumbar region.Spine is bifid and a cyst forms. Cyst protudes through the spina bifida defect in the vertebral arch

Depends on the level of the cord that is damaged.

What are some signs and symptoms of SB?
A
Varying degrees of paralysis and sensory deficits are present below the lesion. Stridor, Swallowing difficulties Intermittent apnea Atrophy of leg muscles
