Q

Major spill protocol:

A
  1. Clear the area and let people know a bad thing happened and they might die
  2. Absorbent paper labeled “caution radioactive material” and indicate boundaries
  3. shield the source
  4. close the room and lock the door
  5. Notify the RSO
  6. Strip naked and clean yo-self and others with lukewarm water and mild soap
  7. if you are still contaminated after washing –> your RSO gets you hot and sweaty to perspire
  8. then wash again and wash the area where you sweated all over

*** if it is a radionuclide with a short half life it may be better to let it decay rather than have an orgy
