- in extension
- in flexion at 30 degrees
provide a valgus force
test the lateral collateral ligament
stress test/ varus test
1. in extension
2. in 30 degrees flexion
provide a varus force
2 test for the PCL
posterior sag test
- patient in 90 90 position and then observe tibial tuberosity which one is higher or lower
posterior draw test
do a knee movement of anterior to posterior
test the ACL
lachmans test
knee in 15-30 degrees flexion then draw the knee forward in a quick jerk movement
test for Meniscus
McMurrays test
put knee into full flexion then as we slowly put knee into extension we will internal rotate and apply valgus
put knee into full flexion and then we slowly bring the knee into extension we will place a varus force
2 test for patellofemoral
patella apprehension test- glide the patella laterally
McConnell test - MMT
