A
Channel is narrow about 100yrds wide beteeen 10 fathom curves and scale of chart is small. Vsls should stay carefully in Mischannel, traffic permitting

Squaxin passage
A
Pass is narrow and vsls should proceed with local knowledge. The S shore should be favored and at the W end the N point of steamboat island should be favored. Reef bares at extreme low water SE of hope Is marked by a buoy.
