- Loss of confidence

- Slow movement/bradykinesia
- Postural instability and loss fo balance

- Assessing capacity to consent
- Poor OH and denture care- poor motor function and ability for self-care
- Pain unrecognised
- Tremor can make treatment difficult
- Reduced communication
- Dry mouth often as a side effect of anti-cholinergic drugs
- Access to surgery may be difficult
- Memory effects may mean more likely to loose denture
